WHAT IF YOUR COACH IS NOT USING YOU FOR THE GAME?

Let's say you're a good basketball player but your coach doesn't like you so he's not using you in the game. You feel so depressed, your confidence is going down and you're losing the trust in yourself, you're not motivated anymore because you knew you're not going to play for the next game. Here is what you need to do if you're in this kind of situation... work harder, follow your coach but follow your instincts too. Just pretend that you're listening to him, pretend that you're getting his inputs but when the time come that you're playing... you need to unleash yourself, you need to take as much shots as you can, never pass the ball, it's your time to shine because you never knew if he's still going to use you for the next game. 

When you're on the court during pressure situation stop following the play designed for the star player, get the ball and drive or take a jump shot. It doesn't matter if you miss, it doesn't matter if your coach will shout at you, just ignore him but never show an attitude, just stay calm and never mind what he's saying. 

Because at the end of the day he didn't trust you so why trust him, it's not that you're disrespecting him, you just need to give yourself a chance to succeed, if you're on the court for a limited playing time... shoot the ball as much as you can, that's what your mindset should be. It doesn't matter if you look like a fool out there, work as hard as you can and never stop playing.

IF YOU CAN'T SLEEP AT THE MOMENT, HERE'S WHAT YOU NEED TO DO

Don't waste your time lying on bed and day dreaming, don't feel pressure that you must fall asleep now because you still have a lot of things to do tomorrow so you need more energy. If it's already 3:45 am and you can't fall asleep yet then stand up, do something, work, do anything positive. Don't look at your cellphone, don't scroll on instagram, don't waste your time on social media, make yourself productive. Don't be afraid of the time, it will pass anyway. The one thing that you must be afraid of is if you're wasting a lot of time. Don't worry if you need to wake up early later but you haven't fell asleep yet, don't worry if you don't have enough energy stored in your body that you have to use later, just don't be scared to work now and do something positive for yourself and for your dream. Don't waste time lying on bed and worrying about your sleep, stand up right away and do something that will improve you. Read a book, do some push ups, study your lessons, hustle a little bit online. There are lot of things to do if you can't sleep, don't just lie on bed and take any second for granted, don't worry if you have no sleep, just be in the moment and make yourself productive every time you are awake.
